What essential fluid rheoloy modelling calculations differences are needed to 'rule of thumb' current 'flat rheology' drilling fluids being applied in deep water applications.
e.g. On recent application what was puzzling was that at very decent ROP's the annular combined EMW** effects was much lower than would be expected?
** EMW = MW + ECD + Other pressure effects. (rotation, pipe movement, cuttings loading etc)
Can any fluids specialists provide an insight into why this may have been so?
