One rig devised a way of removing trapped air from the 30” CART in
subsea wells, that does not need ROVs and/or rope on handles. With
the CART engaged to the conductor, and set on the moonpool beams,
they found that pumping really hard can expel the air. Another team
questioned the need to expel air at all.
